"Contemplation" means thinking - focused mindset.
All of us are thinking: this is contemplation. This thinking is not focused, it's blurry, does not lead anywhere. Indeed, our thinking is contemplative, but, as Freud said, "associative", linked, only hints at. One thought leads to another and without any guidance from your side. One thought of going to another because of the association, because they are linked. These, say they saw a dog that runs down the street: the moment when the dog ugledaš your mind starts to think about dogs. The dog and deceive, and you begin to create associations on the subject.
When you were a child you're afraid a dog. At that moment the dog from my childhood came to mind and your childhood with him returned. Then the dog was forgotten. You are now using it connected to my childhood, childhood, and then taken somewhere else - so it spins in circles.
Whenever you attempt to limp back to where thoughts come from. Back to back, glanced at his steps. Then you will see that some other thoughts out there, and that, and she has led so far, and they are not logically connected. How can a dog on the street to be in touch with your childhood? And there is no logical connection - just the only association in your mind. When I passed this street, this same dog would not have led me to my childhood. This led me to somewhere else. A third person to be led again somewhere else. All have some sort of associative connections in the mind. Each individual link leads to a chain of events. Then it starts to act like a computer. Then, and one thing leads to another, the second to third and so on. Your day is based on it.
Trying to zapisuješ that comes to your mind, you will be surprised | en. What happens to your mind? There is no relationship between thoughts. You call that thinking. It is merely a link between | the two different thoughts, and water. Thinking becomes contemplation only when directly moving when it is not moving with the association. These, say, doing on a particular issue, then cast it out all the associations. These usredsrediš only on this issue: usmjeriš your mind. The mind tries to escape on the right track to a side thought - to go to an association. You then need to izbjegneš all astray. Only one path should usmjeriš your mind.
Scientist who is working on a problem is in contemplation. When a logician is a problem, when a mathematician solves a problem, they are in contemplation. The poet contemplates the flower: then the whole world is put aside and only present the poet and the flower. The poet is guided by the flower. It may be many things to the attracting, but he would not allow his mind to go by the wayside. The mind can then move in one direction on one line. It is contemplation. Science is based on contemplation. Any logical thing kontenplativna: thought is directed, thinking it was conducted. Thinking, common thinking is absurd. Contemplation is a logical, rational.
There is also a concentration: it is dormant in one place. It is not contemplation. It is thought, that's just stay in one point, not allowing the mind to move. During the thinking mind is moving crazy - during normal thinking. In this contemplation the mind is being driven insane, driven, and he can not escape that anywhere. The concentration of the mind does not allow any movement, in the normal thinking mind moving anywhere. In contemplation, he was allowed to move only in certain places, and concentration were not allowed to move anywhere. Then he was only allowed to be in one place. Then all the energy is stopped, all movements are stopped, are riveted to one spot.
Yoga deals with concentration, the ordinary man is occupied by non-directional thinking, a scientist uses the {-oriented thinking thinking. Joginski mind has this way of thinking, focused, fixed, focused on one point, without any movement.
Meditation is something else. In ordinary thinking, the mind is allowed to move everywhere, in contemplation, he was allowed to be only in one particular place, it is directed only towards one direction: all other lines were cut. The concentration is not allowed to move in any direction. The concentration was only allowed to be in one place. In meditation the mind, as such, are generally not allowed. Meditation is a state of "no mind". There are four stages: the usual thinking, contemplation, concentration and meditation.
Meditation involves no state of mind, freedom from the state of mind: even this concentration is not allowed. This note is not allowed even to be! This is why meditation can be achieved mind. Until the concentration, the mind has its rise, has denied access. The mind can conceive of concentration. But the mind can not understand meditation. Indeed, this is not allowed access to the brain. In concentration the mind is allowed to be in one place. In meditation, even that place was deleted. In ordinary thinking, all directions are open, in contemplation is only one direction is allowed, the concentration is only one position available - no direction, and meditation, even that is not opened, the mind is allowed to stay there. Usually thinking is habitual state of mind, and meditation is a higher possibility. Usually reflection on the lower level - the level of association of, a higher level, the peak, it's meditation - the state is deprived of reason, freedom of thought.
